Job summary

Acquire Intelligence in Philippines seeks an Accounts Payable Team Lead to manage day-to-day AP operations, ensure accurate invoice processing and timely vendor payments, and mentor a high-performing AP team in a fast-paced shared services environment.

You will drive process improvements, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure adherence to financial controls while supporting month-end close and audits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading end-to-end Accounts Payable operations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management experience.
• Experience in a BPO or shared services environment.
• Experience managing escalations and resolving complex issues.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for all accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
• Lead and mentor team members by providing direction on task prioritization, performance, and development.
• Manage escalations and resolve complex issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to continuous optimization initiatives within the AP function.
• Oversee payment processes and ensure accurate and timely disbursement of funds.
• Reconcile accounts payable records with the general ledger and other financial data sources.
• Support month end close activities and ensure adherence to established deadlines.
• Assist with internal and external audits by ensuring compliance and documentation readiness.
• Develop and maintain system and process documentation across all AP functions.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support business and campaign requirements.

As an Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely vendor payments, and compliance with financial controls. • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management experience
• Experience in a BPO or shared services environment
• Experience managing escalations and resolving complex issues
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience supporting process improvements or migration projects is an advantage
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
