Job summary

MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate in the Philippines to manage invoice processing, verify PO details, and ensure timely ACH and Paymode payments. The role involves vendor communications and coordination with purchasing and finance to optimize processes.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting/finance and hands-on experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and Excel. Strong attention to detail is essential for accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of ACH payments and electronic payment platforms (e.g., Paymode).
• Familiarity with PO verification, receiving documents, and billing discrepancies.
• Familiarity with remittance advice and payment details transmission.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process invoices from suppliers.
• Verify invoice details (PO vs. Billing).
• Prepare and perform ACH payments and Paymode payments on time.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and transactions.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payments.
• Collaborate with purchasing and finance to streamline processes.
• Investigate and resolve invoices on hold due to pricing/quantity discrepancies.
• Transmit remittance details to suppliers.
