Job summary

Connext is seeking an Accounting Associate Accounts Payable Specialist to handle high-volume AP processing, including invoice entry, coding, and approval routing. The role also manages vendor inquiries, reconciliations, and period-end activities, ensuring compliant documentation and audit support.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of AP experience, including 1 year with Bill.com, and experience across multiple entities or cost centers is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of accounts payable experience.
• At least 1 year of Bill.com experience.
• Experience processing high volumes of AP transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of vendor bills in Bill.com accurately and on time.
• Code invoices to the correct entity, department, location, and GL account.
• Verify invoice details, prevent duplicates, and maintain documentation.
• Manage Bill.com inbox and route bills for approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies and missing bills.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain vendor records.
• Ensure timely period-end processing and provide audit documentation.
• Follow procedures and escalate unclear transactions.
