Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Knowledge of the full accounts payable cycle: receiving invoices, verifying, processing payments, reconciling ledgers.
• Basic accounting principles: debit/credit, journal entries, general ledger, COA.
• Familiarity with local tax laws (VAT, Withholding Tax) for proper tax treatment.
• Ability to reconcile accounts payable with vendor statements and bank records.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero) and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and payments.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, review, and verify supplier invoices and payment requests.
• Ensure invoices align with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Encode and record accounts payable transactions.
• Prepare payment vouchers and process payments to suppliers.
• Monitor due dates and maintain payables schedule.
• Reconcile supplier statements with company records and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized files of invoices and payment documents.
• Assist in preparing AP reports and financial summaries.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on billing and payments.
