Multiply Mii is seeking an experienced accountant to help maintain and reconcile the company’s financial records in a remote capacity from the Philippines. You will manage AP and AR, prepare journal entries, and support month-end close with ERP usage and vendor and customer liaison.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication. The role offers full-time stability with remote work flexibility.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our company’s records. The position involves managing and processing financial transactions, utilizing an ERP system and preparing journal entries. This role will also include working closely with major retail partners such as Amazon and Target, ensuring accurate billing, payment reconciliation, and compliance with customer-specific requirements. Your responsibilities will include reconciling accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports. You'll be a key support in maintaining financial records with and contributing to the overall efficiency of the company’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Key Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

  • Process customer payments

  • Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding and entry into the ERP system.

  • Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Prepare weekly cash disbursement reports and manage payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual terms.

  • Work with vendors and internal teams to address payment or invoice issues.

  • Allocate shipping, customs, and other costs necessary to prepare our inventory for sale to our customers to the appropriate inventory items in the ERP system.

• Key Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring timely payment application.

  • Investigate, record and resolve payment discrepancies, chargebacks, and short payments.

  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance with customer invoicing requirements and order fulfillment terms.

  • Prepare aging reports and track AR performance metrics.

• Key Financial Reporting and Reconciliation Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review journal entries related to AR, AP, and customer-specific transactions.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate reporting of AP and AR balances.

  • Reconcile key customer and vendor accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for.

  • Support in conducting financial analysis and forecasting.

  • Collaborate with the team on financial audits.

  • Contribute to the improvement of internal accounting processes.

  • Provide support in financial projects and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with other departments on financial matters as needed.

Competencies and Qualifications

Must-Have

• At least 5 years of accounting experience
