Job summary

Reed Elsevier Philippines is seeking an AP/AR Analyst to perform analysis, reconciliations, fraud detection, and reporting with growing independence. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and adherence to financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 1 year relevant work experience in P2P preferred (Travel & Expense/Royalty).
• Fluent in French (speaking and writing).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Willingness to learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Credit Control and Collections: analyze aged debtor data and resolve outstanding payments; refer complex issues to management.
• Financial Management and Control: monitor and analyze data using finance systems and protocols.
• Data Collection and Analysis: produce accurate reports from diverse sources.
• Organizational Risk Management: monitor risk data and recommend investigations.
• Document Preparation: create moderately complex documents; summarize data for reports.
• Solutions Analysis: respond to routine inquiries following procedures.
• Quality Assurance: perform basic testing and QA tasks.
• Operational Compliance: adhere to policies and regulatory codes; follow procedures.
