Job summary

JTI Global Business Services Manila is seeking an Accounts Payable Expert on a 12-month temporary basis in Taguig. You will oversee end-to-end AP operations, act as the subject matter expert for AP processes and systems, and drive improvements while ensuring compliance.

You will coordinate workflows, prepare reports, and support month-end activities, with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and timely processing across global markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance environment.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, accounting principles, and financial controls.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of IFRS, JSOX, internal controls, and compliance is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, ensuring timely and compliant processing of invoices.
• Act as primary point of contact for AP process, system, and business topics.
• Coordinate workflow allocation and monitor service levels for AP day-to-day operations.
• Prepare and review AP reports, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
• Drive process improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, automation, and service delivery.
• Execute and monitor compliance activities, including JSOX controls and payrun checks.
• Maintain AP process documentation and knowledge management materials.
• Coach and support AP Specialists with guidance and training.
• Collaborate with markets and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve customer experience.
