Job summary

MicroSourcing in Quezon City is seeking an Accounts Payable & Vendor Specialist to support vendor invoicing, payables processing, and supplier relationships for a US-based client.

The role is hybrid with a night shift, requiring 3+ years in AP, an accounting/finance degree, strong Excel skills, and excellent English communication with US vendors. Healthcare on day one and performance bonuses accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years direct experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong written and spoken English for US vendor interactions.
• High accuracy and detail orientation in financial transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices; enter billing data and correct discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of invoices and supporting docs.
• Resolve vendor disputes and escalations to VP of Finance when needed.
• Post data and maintain cost records for goods/services/shipments.
• Schedule and execute payments via check, ACH, or wire per protocols.

Your Role

As an Accounts Payable & Vendor Specialist, you will support daily financial operations for a US-based manufacturing client, focusing primarily on vendor invoice management, payables processing, payment execution, and supplier relationship management. In this role, you will ensure billing accuracy, resolve vendor disputes, maintain vendor profiles, and serve as a cross-functional backup for payroll activities.

Specifically, You Will

• Process and verify vendor invoices by checking accuracy, entering billing data into financial systems, and correcting any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate, organized records of invoices and essential supporting documentation.

• Perform routine bookkeeping duties, including posting data and maintaining cost records for goods, services, and shipments.

• Manage and update accurate vendor profiles and master records within the system.
• Prepare recurring weekly deliverables to support cash flow forecasting and assist in developing operational KPI reports.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth transactions and high operational efficiency.
• Serve as a reliable backup resource for payroll processing functions.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in accounts payable or general bookkeeping operations.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong written and spoken English skills for direct, ongoing communication with US vendors and stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy, process-driven mindset, and strong attention to detail when managing financial transactions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience navigating accounting software and reporting platforms.
• Excellent organizational capabilities, self-direction, and comfort working remotely with a US-based team.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Prior experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on familiarity or direct experience with IQMS / DELMIAWorks ERP software.
• Prior exposure to or basic working knowledge of payroll processing.
