Job summary

MicroSourcing in Quezon City is hiring an Accounts Payable & Vendor Specialist to support a US-based manufacturing client. You will manage vendor invoices, payables processing, and supplier relations with emphasis on accuracy and timely payments in a hybrid, night-shift setup.

You will collaborate across functions, ensure ERP data integrity, and provide weekly cash flow support while backing payroll as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent).
• Strong written and spoken English for US vendor communication.
• High accuracy and detail-oriented in financial transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Comfortable working remotely with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices; enter data into financial systems.
• Maintain organized records of invoices and supporting docs.
• Resolve vendor disputes and escalate when needed.
• Perform routine bookkeeping and cost postings.
• Schedule and execute payments via check/ACH/wire.

Your Role

As an Accounts Payable & Vendor Specialist, you will support daily financial operations for a US-based manufacturing client, focusing primarily on vendor invoice management, payables processing, payment execution, and supplier relationship management. In this role, you will ensure billing accuracy, resolve vendor disputes, maintain vendor profiles, and serve as a cross-functional backup for payroll activities.

Specifically, You Will

• Process and verify vendor invoices by checking accuracy, entering billing data into financial systems, and correcting any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate, organized records of invoices and essential supporting documentation.
• Resolve vendor disputes in a timely manner and elevate significant issues to the VP of Finance when appropriate.
• Perform routine bookkeeping duties, including posting data and maintaining cost records for goods, services, and shipments.
• Schedule and execute payments to vendors via check, ACH, or wire transfer in accordance with company protocols.
• Manage and update accurate vendor profiles and master records within the system.
• Prepare recurring weekly deliverables to support cash flow forecasting and assist in developing operational KPI reports.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth transactions and high operational efficiency.
• Serve as a reliable backup resource for payroll processing functions.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in accounts payable or general bookkeeping operations.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong written and spoken English skills for direct, ongoing communication with US vendors and stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy, process-driven mindset, and strong attention to detail when managing financial transactions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience navigating accounting software and reporting platforms.
• Excellent organizational capabilities, self-direction, and comfort working remotely with a US-based team.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Prior experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on familiarity or direct experience with IQMS / DELMIAWorks ERP software.
• Prior exposure to or basic working knowledge of payroll processing.
