Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP.
• Strong numeracy and accuracy in financial data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail with large volumes of transactions.
• Professional communication and collaboration with colleagues and vendors.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes, withholding taxes, and invoice processing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and entry.
• Reconciling invoices with supporting documentation and purchase orders.
• Preparing cheques for authorisation and processing payments.
• Maintaining filing systems for payable documents.
• Communicating with vendors regarding discrepancies and terms.
• Assisting in preparation of accounts payable reports and statements.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures as required.
• Performing general accounting tasks and ad hoc duties.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
