Zusammenfassung

Focus Global Inc. in Taguig, Metro Manila is seeking a General Accountant (Accounts Payable) to support financial reporting, vendor management, and process improvements. A BS Accountancy degree and 3–5 years in general accounting are preferred, with strong spreadsheet skills and excellent communication.

CPA is an advantage but not required. Experience in a marketing or trading company handling accounting functions is a plus. This is a full-time on-site role based in the Philippines.

• Utilize financial software and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities with accurate recording and verification of transactions.

The General Accountant (Accounts Payable) is responsible for analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate reporting and providing insights to support business decisions. It plays a key role in financial planning, financial analysis and reporting and process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Presentation: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheet schedules, costing and break even analysis to help management understand the company's financial health.
• Accounts Payable: Includes invoice processing and vendor management activities. Review, validate and record supplier invoices ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies. Maintain accurate and updated vendor records and payment terms and handle account reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies if any.
• Financial Analysis: Conducting basic financial analysis, such as profitability and liquidity analysis, to support decision-making.
• Audit Support: Assist in external audits by providing necessary documentation and responses to auditor’s queries.
• Systems and Software: Proficiency in financial software and systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate records. Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Recording and checking the accuracy of transactions prior to the preparation of financial reports
