Journal Entries & GL Maintenance: Prepare and post essential journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments, maintaining precision across general ledger accounts.
Comprehensive Reconciliations: Perform regular, detailed reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet items, identifying and resolving ledger discrepancies promptly.
Compliance & Reporting Support: Assist with monthly financial reporting packs, supporting schedules, sales tax compliance (US Sales & Use Tax / Canadian GST/HST), and 1099/W-9 vendor tracking.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise professionally with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to investigate and resolve financial or billing queries efficiently.
What You Bring
The Experience: 0 - 1 years of experience working with North American (US/Canada) accounting firms or supporting North American entities is mandatory.
Technical Mastery: Proven ability to manage transactional accounting workflows, handle complex bank/balance sheet reconciliations, and navigate cloud accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero).
Operational Discipline: Exceptional attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and organizational skills necessary to meet strict month-end deadlines.
