Job summary

JG Summit Holdings Inc. is seeking a General Accounting Supervisor to oversee the accounting team, ensure accuracy of financial operations, and enforce compliance with GAAP/IFRS.

You will supervise daily functions, review entries, and lead month-end and year-end closings to deliver timely reports for management and audits. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and proficiency in SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks with excellent Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software; advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
• Amenable to deployment within JG Summit Holdings, Inc. Shared Services Arm (Go Global Business Services, Inc.).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reporting.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes for timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff to maintain high performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues.
