RGP Philippines is seeking an experienced Accounting Team Lead (Intercompany) to oversee intercompany accounting operations during a strategic divestiture transition. The role is fixed-term and hybrid, located at BGC, Taguig, Metro Manila.

You will lead the accounting team, ensure accurate intercompany processing, and coordinate with finance colleagues to resolve balances while maintaining strong controls and timely reporting.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Team Lead (Intercompany) to join our finance team on a fixed-term contract basis. In this role, you will oversee and streamline intercompany accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance during a critical corporate transition (divestiture).

Important Details:

• Contract Duration: October 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite) | Mid-shift

• Location: BGC, Taguig, Metro Manila

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and oversee the accounting team, providing direction, supervision, and guidance on daily operations and team deliverables.

• Support the processing and accounting of intercompany transactions between entities.

• Review and validate intercompany transactions to ensure appropriate coding, supporting documentation, and accurate accounting treatment.

• Perform intercompany settlements and coordinate with relevant Finance teams to resolve outstanding balances and settlement issues.

• Prepare and process journal entries and accounting postings related to intercompany transactions.

• Monitor and reconcile balances between entities and investigate variances or discrepancies.

• Coordinate with different stakeholders to resolve transactional and settlement issues.

• Support the timely clearing of intercompany balances and follow up on aged or unmatched transactions.

• Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for transactions processed as part of the divestiture.

• Assist with period-end close activities, including intercompany reconciliation, balance confirmation, and reporting.

• Ensure activities are completed in accordance with established accounting policies, controls, and project timelines.

About you

• Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or any finance-related course.

• Leadership Experience: demonstrated prior experience in team leadership, people management, or handling and supervising an accounting team.

• Proven background in general accounting, with a strong focus on intercompany accounting operations and reconciliations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in financial systems and journal entry preparation.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate effectively across various finance teams and departments.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment under fixed timelines (divestiture experience is a plus).
