Our Clients is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to oversee daily accounting operations and drive month-end closing with strict adherence to US GAAP and internal controls.

You will mentor staff, manage reconciliations, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and automation.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license preferred.
• 10+ years in general accounting or related domain.
• 3+ years in supervisory role with staff training and review experience.
• Hands-on experience with general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audits.

The Accounting Team Lead oversees daily accounting operations, ensures the accuracy of financial records, and leads a team of accounting professionals. This role drives month-end closing, ensures compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP) and internal controls, and actively pursues continuous process improvements and automation.

• Supervise, mentor, and foster professional development for accounting staff.
• Assign workloads, monitor performance, provide continuous coaching, and conduct evaluations.
• Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
• Oversee general ledger activities, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, analyzing data to provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external audits.
• Ensure strict adherence to US GAAP, tax obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Research complex accounting standards and provide technical support on non-standard transactions.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement best practices, SOPs, and automation tools.
• Support ERP enhancements and system implementation initiatives to streamline workflows.
• Partner across cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, Finance) to support business needs.
• Address management inquiries and deliver ad-hoc financial analysis as requested.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification: CPA license preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in General Accounting or a related domain.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role with proven experience training staff and reviewing complex work.
• Hands-on expertise in general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
• Experience in the US Healthcare industry is a plus.
