Job summary

TMF Group is a leading global provider of high-value business services to clients operating and investing globally. The Accounting & Tax Associate will work closely with the Accounting and Tax team to deliver excellent services to clients, reporting to the Accounting and Tax Supervisor/Assistant Manager.

The role includes preparation and maintenance of full set of accounts, tax filings and continuous liaison with clients, auditors and bankers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• Able to work in Makati City.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Planning / pursuing professional accounting certificates (CPA/ ACCA/ CIMA) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining full set of accounts: journal entries for month end FS, income statement, balance sheet, trial balance, tax filing.
• Maintain good client relationships and address client queries promptly.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant authorities.
• Update process documentation and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose:

The Accounting & Tax Associate will be working closely with the Accounting and Tax team in the daily deliverables of excellent services to clients. This role will be reporting to the Accounting and Tax Supervisor/Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Junior/Senior Officer in preparing and maintaining full set of accounts as below :
• Journal entries for month end Financial Statements
• Monthly Income Statement
• Balance Sheet
• Trial Balance
• Tax Filing
• and other relevant document
• To maintain good client relationship and attend to clients’ queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Continuous and frequent liaison with clients for documentations, information or clarifications for management accounts preparation and audit purposes.
• Periodic update of process documentation.
• Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant authorities
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or related.
• Able to work in Makati City.
• Good interpersonal skills with a positive disposition.
• Planning / pursuing professional accounting certificate such as CPA/ ACCA/ CIMA consider as added advantage.
