Job summary

Quicken Concrete Mix Corp - affiliate is seeking an experienced Accountant to support financial operations across multiple plants in the Philippines. You will review accounts payable vouchers, perform bank reconciliations, and verify accounting entries against budgets.

You will also monitor costing, prepare monthly P&L by plant, and assist with financial statements. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting systems (Microsoft Navision).

Responsibilities

• Review accounts payable vouchers, fund transfer, and check vouchers generated by the senior accounting associate – account payable ensuring that journal entries are correct.
• Bank Reconciliation
• Review costing entries generated by the accounting associate – cost by checking on the GP rate versus budget. Any usual fluctuation is investigated.
• Generate monthly actual profit & loss (P&L) per store/batching plant areas/crushing plant areas and balance sheet per company. Analyzes each profit & loss account, ensuring that all costs are booked based on actual documents and accrued based on budgeted amounts. Endorsed P&L and balance sheet to the Accounting Manager.
• Review all reports submitted by the team and ensure the correctness of bookings on the Accounting System (Microsoft Navision).
• Finalize Financial Statement reports before submission
• Preparation of Monthly Opcom Report
• Reconciliation of Rental Balances
• Updating and enforcing of Accounting policies
• Workshop checking of Service Invoices Gain/Loss
