Job summary

Pharmacare is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, reporting, and tax compliance. You will supervise staff, review journal entries, manage GL, AR/AP, and bank reconciliations, and prepare periodic financial reports.

You'll analyze variances, assist in budgeting and forecasting, monitor tax deadlines, and provide insights to support management decisions, while maintaining strong internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is an advantage but not required.
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting or financial operations experience.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Experience handling journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Review journal entries and ensure transactions are properly recorded.
• Oversee general ledger management and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review periodic financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis activities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documentation.
• Monitor tax compliance and deadlines.
