Job summary

ALMAVIDA HOLDINGS INC is seeking a Finance Supervisor to take day-to-day control of the Finance team, overseeing the monthly close, disbursements, reconciliations, and statutory filings. You will be the first-level reviewer over the Finance team's outputs, enforce internal control standards, and manage the workload and development of your team.

Key responsibilities include managing the monthly close calendar, approving vouchers, reviewing liquidations, and maintaining filing calendars for BIR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly accounting close calendar; review and approve trial balances, account analyses, and reconciliations.
• Approve AP/check vouchers within set authority limits; control the check release schedule.
• Review PCA/OCA liquidations; monitor supplier aging and resolve billing disputes.
• Maintain the statutory filing calendar; ensure BIR returns and remittances are filed on time.
• Implement internal controls; lead cash, inventory, and fixed asset cycle counts.
• Assign workload, review team performance, and identify training needs.
