Job summary

Lex Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to supervise staff, manage month-end and year-end closings, and prepare financial statements.

You will oversee intercompany and bank reconciliations, ensure tax compliance, and coordinate with auditors while upholding internal controls. The role requires a CPA, a degree in Accountancy, and at least two years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of PFRS/GAAP and Philippine tax laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• CPA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and monitor accounting staff to ensure timely, accurate tasks.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing for accurate financial reports.
• Prepare and review complete sets of financial statements and schedules.
• Prepare and review intercompany reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset schedules.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and regulatory reports to BIR and others.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Conduct table audits and accounting reviews for accuracy.
• Review vouchers, journals, and reports for endorsement to the Assistant Accounting Manager.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in audit findings resolution.
• Monitor deadlines and deliverables for financial statements and management reports.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Identify discrepancies and improve internal controls.
• Maintain proper documentation and safekeeping of records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
