Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Manage financial and regulatory reporting requirements
• Lead and support annual financial audits
• Support BIR audit process and minimize financial exposure
• Prepare financial reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Resolves and escalates issues with management on areas involving Finance and Accounting
• Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Review and prepare technical memo and accounting policies
• Review and assess new amendments in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), and analyze impact to financials
• Responsible for managing the statement of accounts, reconciling, invoicing, accounts payables and receivables
• Provide coaching to project team members
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
• Prepares and reviews process workflow and detailed instructions
• Initiate and implement process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency
• Checking and posting of daily transactions
• Review and reconciliation of account schedules
• Preparation of closing reports relevant to management decision-making
• Preparation and review of tax filing
• Supervision of Accounting Analyst(s)
• Special Assignments and Projects: (1) Any special projects and assignments given by the Management/Executive Team (2) Provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement and advancement of the Group’s mission, goals, activities and initiatives (3) Performs other duties deemed necessary or as requested by the Management
