Job summary

Promethium Marketing Company in Quezon City is seeking a Finance Associate with 2+ years of accounting experience to assist the Finance Manager in compliance and management accounting. The role requires accuracy in data, preparation of trial balances and financial reports, and strong communication with internal and external partners.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting or related degree, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with SAP or QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Graduate with BS in Accountancy or related degree.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in financial/accounting role, preferably from construction.
• Knowledge of full accounting cycle, year-end closing and internal controls.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to work at Panay Ave., QC.

Responsibilities

• Assist Finance Manager in financial compliance and management accounting.
• Ensure data accuracy in company systems.
• Prepare trial balance and financial reports.
• Maintain sound working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Other duties as may be assigned by the Finance Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists Finance Manager in:

• Providing direction and leadership to financial compliance and management accounting
• Knowledgeable in compensation and withholding tax
• Ensure that populated data in system is accurate
• Preparation of trial balance and financial reports
• Maintaining sound working relationship with internal and external partners
• Others as may be instructed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management or Accounting Technology
• With at least 2 years of work experience in the same capacity preferably from Construction industry.
• Knowledgeable with complete accounting cycle, closing of year-end external audit and appropriate internal controls
• Able to communicate well in English Language both in oral and written
• Must be adept in using Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel, and Power point
