Job summary

Stonehenge Manpower Agency Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Head to lead the company''s accounting operations on-site in Quezon City. The role requires 5+ years in accounting leadership, a BS Accountancy degree, and an advantage for CPA holders.

Knowledge of SAP Business One and MS Office is preferred. You will drive financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring compliance with local regulations (BIR, SEC) and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• CPA Holder is Advantage but not Required (has Php 3,000.00 allowance).
• Must have at least five (5) years working experience as Head/Manager of Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall accounting operations of the company.
• Oversee general accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations (BIR, SEC, etc.).
• Supervise and review work of accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting in coordination with management.
• Analyze financial data and present reports and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Oversee tax planning, filing, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure proper implementation and utilization of SAP Business One (if applicable).
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting systems and processes.
• Support project costing, inventory accounting, and financial monitoring (especially for construction-related transactions).
• Handle high-volume transactions while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
