Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee the company’s general accounting operations, AP/AR, collections, sales performance monitoring, and inventory accounting. You will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, internal controls, and compliance with tax regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and ERP software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with supervisory exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, AP, AR, collection management and inventory accounting.
• Experience in sales reporting, financial analysis, and inventory reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software; high integrity and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting transactions, GL, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee supplier invoices, payments, reconciliations, and timely settlement of obligations.
• Monitor customer accounts, aging, and reconcile customer transactions.
• Lead collection activities and implement strategies to improve cash flow.
• Prepare and analyze sales performance reports and provide timely financial insights.
• Monitor inventory balances and reconcile physical vs. book records; analyze variances.
• Ensure timely submission of financial, tax, and regulatory reports per standards and laws.
• Implement robust accounting procedures and safeguard assets; identify discrepancies and improvements.
• Lead, train, and evaluate accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
