Job summary

PHILIPPINE NEWLY EVER RISE TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION in Metro Manila is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting department, overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and treasury.

The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with BIR and PEZA requirements, coordinate annual audits, and drive process improvements while safeguarding confidential information.

Qualifications

• Experience with PEZA report and Certification.
• Preparation and submission of BIR reports.
• Proven work experience as Accounting Supervisor or Senior Accountant.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Graduate of BS Accountancy or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and treasury.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports.
• Establish and enforce accounting policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Meet financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and advise management on needed actions.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Answer accounting policy questions by researching and interpreting policy and regulations.
• Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Supervising and managing the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and treasury
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce accurate financial reports or statements
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Coordinating and completing annual audits
• Meeting financial standards by providing accounting department annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
