Job summary

Jadeblue Petroleum Inc. seeks an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks across payables, receivables, cash receipts, disbursements, and general ledger functions.

You will lead an accounting team, review entries, monitor daily station finances, and prepare monthly reports while ensuring compliance with internal controls and government requirements. A CPA is advantageous but not required; multi-site exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience with supervisory exposure.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in petroleum, gas station, retail, or multi-branch industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate accounting entries, reconciliations, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Monitor and reconcile daily station sales, collections, deposits, and cash reports.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of station expenses, purchases, and transactions.
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and other departments on accounting matters.
• Monitor compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and government requirements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing and audit requirements; identify discrepancies and correct them.
• Provide guidance and training to accounting staff.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

About the role

• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and other departments to resolve accounting concerns
• Monitor compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and government requirements
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing and audit requirementsIdentify accounting discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Provide guidance and training to accounting staff
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Experience in the petroleum, gas station, retail, or multi-branch industry is an advantage
• CPA license is an advantage but not required
• Willing to work in a fast-paced, multi-site business environment
