We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and motivated Accounting Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising accounting staff, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.
This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of financial data and plays a key role in driving process improvements and supporting strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Assist with audits (internal and external) by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard assets.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate accounting staff performance; provide feedback and support their professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Operations) to support business initiatives and financial planning.
- Participate in system upgrades and ERP implementation/improvement projects.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Energy or Power Industry is a plus.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Netsuite, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
