Job summary

Yuanta Savings Bank Philippines, Inc. is looking for an accounting professional to monitor daily transactions and ensure accurate financial records. You will prepare financial statements, regulatory and tax reports, and support system automation initiatives.

The role requires a degree in Accountancy, 3–5 years in banking or similar financial institutions, and strong knowledge of PFRS/PAS and regulatory issuances. You will manage multiple deadlines while ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required.
• Preferably 3–5 years of experience in banking or similar financial institutions.
• Familiarity with accounting standards (PFRS/PAS) and regulatory issuances (BSP/BIR/SEC/PDIC).
• Experience in general ledger maintenance and understanding of financial regulations.
• Ability to review and analyze financial data for accuracy and compliance.
• Strong multitasking and deadline management for regulatory reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure accurate records of financial transactions and prepare reports (financial statements, management, regulatory and tax reports).
• Monitor and check daily accounting activities and month-end entries; prepare reconciliation reports.
• Submit various financial reports to regulatory bodies in a timely and accurate manner.
• Oversee implementation of system automation projects.
• Implement controls to enable timely preparation and reporting of accurate statements and regulatory reports.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Monitoring and checking of daily accounting activities
• Checking of month-end entries and schedules for various assets and liabilities and reconciliation reports
• Prepare and submit various financial reports to regulatory bodies in a timely and accurate manner
• Oversee the implementation of various system automation project
• Implementing of required controls to enable timely preparation and reporting of accurate financial statements and regulatory reports

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
• Preferably at least 3-5 years of experience in banking or similar financial institutions
• Familiarity with accounting standards (PFRS/PAS), regulatory issuances (BSP/BIR/SEC/PDIC) and experience in general ledger maintenance
• Understanding of laws and regulations and other issuances relevant to financial institutions in the Philippines
• Ability to review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, especially with regulatory reports
