Job summary

Merrell Philippines in Pasig is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the AP team, ensure accurate invoicing and vendor payments, and oversee end-to-end accounting operations. The role drives timely tax reporting and controls within a dynamic finance function.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in accounting with 1–2 years in supervision, strong Excel and ERP system skills, and excellent communication to coordinate across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the AP team, including processing invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of vendor invoices and expense documentation
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Manage the AP aging report and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely payments.
  • Accurately compute and withhold applicable taxes on payments to vendors, adhering to tax rates and regulations set by government authorities
  • Prepare and file tax reports related to AP transactions, such as BIR Form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source) or equivalent documents, within specified deadlines.
  • Supervise general accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month end close procedures
  • Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and collaboration across the organization

JOB SUMMARY

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising the AP functions, as well as overseeing general services related to accounting operations. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, collections, and provides support for various administrative tasks within the accounting department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable (AP)
