Job summary

CH Asia World of Electric, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee payroll processing and general accounting activities. You will ensure accuracy, timely completion, documentation, and compliance with company policies and government requirements.

The role requires graduate-level accounting knowledge, with hands-on payroll experience and strong Excel skills. You will supervise staff, handle month-end tasks, and maintain confidential payroll information, based in Metro Manila,

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accountancy or related course.
• Payroll and accounting experience, preferably supervisory.
• Knowledge of Philippine payroll, SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG, and BIR.
• Strong Excel skills including XLOOKUP, PivotTables.
• Detail-oriented, trustworthy, able to meet deadlines.

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing payroll processing and general accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, timely completion, proper documentation, and compliance with Company policies and government requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process employee payroll, including basic salary, overtime, holiday/rest-day pay, night differential, absences, late/undertime, and other adjustments.
• Process and reconcile SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR withholding tax requirements and remittances.
• Compute 13th-month pay, final pay, leave conversions, and other employee-related benefits.
• Handle SSS maternity and sickness benefit processing and reimbursement.
• Reconcile payroll registers with accounting records, bank crediting, and government remittances.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries, schedules, and reconciliation reports.
• Supervise and review accounting staff's work and assist with general accounting and month-end activities.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions such as XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIFS, and IF formulas for payroll preparation and reconciliation.

About you

• Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or related course.
• Relevant experience in payroll and general accounting, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledgeable in Philippine payroll, government contributions, and BIR requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, analytical, reconciliation, and supervisory skills.
• Detail-oriented, trustworthy, organized, and capable of meeting strict deadlines.
