Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, supervise a small accounting team, and ensure accurate financial records and timely reports. This role covers accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, tax documentation, audits, internal controls, and collaboration with other departments.

You will work in Las Piñas on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with AP/AR and supplier payments.
• Experience with bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Good understanding of tax compliance, audits, and internal controls.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of supervising a small accounting team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and review the work of the accounting team.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments and customer collections.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records, invoices, receipts, tax documents, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, budget monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Support payroll processing and related accounting requirements.
• Assist with tax preparation, filing, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Implement and monitor accounting controls to protect assets and ensure accurate reporting.

About the role:

Hiring an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the timely preparation of financial reports. This role will also supervise a small accounting team and ensure that accounting processes, payments, reconciliations, tax documentation, and internal controls are completed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities:
