Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accountant in Cebu City to join a lean, hands-on team responsible for general ledger, month-end close, and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting and has at least 3 years of relevant experience across AR, AP, tax compliance (BIR), and audits. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is essential, with mentorship from the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience across GL, TB, month-end closing.
• Knowledge of GAAP, AR, AP, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with BIR regulations, tax compliance, and audit processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software/ERP.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field


• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to multiple areas of accounting beyond AP/AR alone — such as general ledger, trial balance preparation, and month-end/year-end closing.


• Strong knowledge of General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Financial Reporting.


• Familiarity with BIR regulations, tax compliance, and audit processes


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems


• Comfortable working hands-on in a lean/small team environment, and open to guidance and mentorship from the Accounting Manager.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
