Job summary

Elevate Calls Inc. is seeking an entry-level accountant to join the finance team and learn from experienced professionals. You will assist with data input, bank reconciliations, and supporting budget tracking, with hands-on QuickBooks training to grow into more advanced roles.

You will work in a collaborative finance department, handling tasks across accounts payable, journal postings, and routine reconciliations to support organizational financial health.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, reporting, and compliance issues.
• Willingness to learn QuickBooks and perform data-entry tasks.

In this position, you'll assist our senior accountants in day-to-day tasks such as data inputting, bank statement reconciliations, and supporting budget tracking efforts. You will receive hands-on training and development opportunities in QuickBooks under our guidance so that you can grow into advanced roles over time.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions through QuickBooks
• Record financial transactions by posting debits and credits to appropriate accounts
• Track department budgets and monitor spending trends
• Liaise directly with vendors to manage payment discrepancies
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve any errors/disputes you encounter along the way

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting preferred; willingness to consider equivalent combination of education and experience as well
• Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), tax laws, reporting, and compliance issues
• Passion for excellence in recordkeeping and attention to detail
• Positive can-do attitude and adaptability working across departments
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities concurrently under tight deadlines and limited supervision
