Job summary

Acestar International Services Corp. is seeking an Accounting Staff to provide accounting and financial support for accurate recording, processing, and monitoring of transactions in a freight logistics environment.

The role covers billing, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and related activities for trucking and daily operations. Fresh graduates may be considered; 1–2 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required for an accounting staff position.

Responsibilities

• Record and process daily financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare customer invoices, billing statements, and other billing documents.
• Verify invoices, receipts, purchase orders, delivery receipts, and other supporting documents.
• Process trucking and freight-related billing and expenses.
• Monitor customer accounts and outstanding receivables.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate with customers regarding payment concerns.
• Prepare payment requests and supporting documents for suppliers and service providers.
• Assist in processing driver and trucking-related expenses, reimbursements, fuel expenses, and other operational costs.
• Record and monitor cash and bank transactions.
• Perform regular bank, cash, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor and maintain proper filing of official receipts, invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Assist in preparing documents required for audits and government compliance.
• Coordinate with operations, trucking, logistics, purchasing, and administrative departments to verify financial transactions.
• Ensure accounting transactions are properly supported and authorized.
• Monitor and reconcile advances, liquidations, and employee or driver-related cash advances.
• Assist in monitoring company expenses against approved budgets.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by the Accounting Manager or Management.
