Scrubbed in the Philippines seeks an Accounting Staff to support end-to-end accounting from transaction entry to financial statements, leveraging cloud-based tools.

You will handle AP/AR, payroll, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting, while guiding junior staff and documenting processes. This role requires strong English communication and solid analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in BPO.
• Bachelor’s/college degree in Finance or Accountancy.
• CPA license preferred.
• Big 4 audit experience is a plus.
• Proficient in English (oral & written).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to guide entry-level staff and draft docs.

We are looking for an Accounting Staff to be involved in all aspects of accounting, working from the transactional level through the financial statements level, using the latest in cloud computing technology.

• Completion of the month-end journals and closing adjustments
• Preparation and completion of monthly financial reports
• Bank and GL Reconciliations
• Actively participates during client calls
• Identify significant risks and able to analyze and document in a technical memo
• Able to guide and review entry-level staff work
• Drafts process documentation
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• With at least 2-4 years of experience in the same field, Preferably with BPO companies
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent
• With CPA License is preferred
• Experience with the Big 4 audit firms is a plus
• Interest and exposure in accounting systems and other related applications
• Can work under pressure and can easily refocus to attend to urgent tasks
• Excellent communication (both oral and written in English) skills
• Strong analytical skills
