About the role

Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting the company's accounting and financial operations. Performs recording and monitoring of financial transactions, preparation of journal entries and liquidations, accounts payable monitoring, disbursement processing, cash flow monitoring, budgeting support, month-end inventory activities, and encoding of financial data in QuickBooks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Prepare and record journal entries and other accounting transactions.
• Prepare, review, and process liquidation reports and supporting documents.
• Monitor accounts payable, including due dates, outstanding balances, and payment status.
• Process company disbursements through online banking, ensuring proper approval and complete supporting documents.
• Monitor and update cash flow and provide relevant financial information to management.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and budget utilization.
• Conduct and assist with month-end inventory activities and reconciliation of inventory records.
• Input, encode, and maintain financial transactions and records in QuickBooks.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of accounting documents before recording or processing transactions.

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) or related Accounting/Finance course.

• Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of accounting reports.
