Job summary

Accounting Staff position responsible for recording and processing financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring inventory, maintaining accounting documentation, and supporting compliance and reporting functions.

Key responsibilities

Record and encode financial transactions accurately in the accounting system

Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable documents

Assist in the preparation of journal vouchers, checks, and disbursement records

Maintain and update subsidiary ledgers and schedules

Perform bank, cash, and petty cash reconciliations as assigned

Assist in monitoring and recording stock and inventory transactions

Ensure inventory records are accurate and properly supported by documents

Coordinate with Warehouse or Store personnel regarding inventory movements and reports

Ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper filing of accounting documents

Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files, both physical and electronic

About you

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

At least 1 year of relevant accounting work experience

Familiar with accounting systems/software

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications

Highly intelligent, analytical, and detail-oriented
