The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of relevant experience, a degree in accounting or related field, and proficiency with accounting software

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar Accounting Specialist role, preferably within the food or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and prepared on time.
• Perform various accounting tasks such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and managing petty cash.
• Provide support to the Finance team, collaborating on projects and special initiatives as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and controls.
