Job summary

EasyFood Restaurants Corporation in Metro Manila is seeking a detail‑oriented accounting professional to join the finance team as a junior accountant.

You will handle accounts payable and receivable, assist with bank reconciliations, and support month‑end closing and financial reporting. This role requires basic accounting knowledge, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated of Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience
• At least one (1) year work related experience
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and procedures in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems, with competency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting applications
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies in financial data
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to colleagues at all levels
• Reliability and discretion in handling sensitive financial information and maintaining confidentiality
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and respond positively to feedback and training
• Prior experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping is an advantages

Responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing
• Assisting with the preparation and reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and variance analysis
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Performing data entry and maintaining spreadsheets for financial reporting purposes
• Responding to financial queries from internal departments and providing administrative support to the finance team
• Contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of financial data used for decision-making and strategic planning
