Job summary

Helium Accounting is seeking an accounting staff member to join our team in the Philippines. The role covers month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management, and general finance administration as a full-time position.

The successful candidate will support month-end close, prepare journals, assist with budgeting, manage supplier and customer invoicing, monitor cash flow, and participate in audits or process improvements while maintaining high accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College degree in Accounting is mandatory.
• CPA qualification is required to be considered.
• Experience with Australian/New Zealand clients is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication is essential.
• Proactive mindset for continuous improvement and rapid learning.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close procedures and dashboards with variance analysis.
• Prepare month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in annual budget and forecast for assigned entities.
• Handle Accounts Payable activities and supplier statement reconciliations.
• Process Accounts Receivable including invoicing and allocations.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly cash flow reports.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Assist with payroll and payroll masterfile records.
• Support audits, acquisitions, and process improvements.
• Provide general finance and administrative support as required.
• Take ownership of tasks and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Maintain attention to detail and follow through on outstanding items.
