Job summary

Philippine Vending Corporation seeks an Assistant Accounting Manager to support the Accounting Manager in overseeing daily accounting operations and internal controls.

You will prepare financial statements, assist in month-end and year-end closing, manage AP/AR/GL, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires a BS in Accountancy with 4–6 years of experience and strong Excel and SAP skills, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting is required.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience with some supervision.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and taxation.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily accounting operations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Supervise and train accounting personnel.
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting department.
