Job summary

La Chinesca is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead and supervise the accounting team in Metro Manila. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulations while coordinating audits and process improvements.

The successful candidate will oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and monthly statements, ensuring timely payments, accurate records, and robust internal controls. Relocation or local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accountancy, Financial Management or related course
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably on a F&B
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and supplier/vendor payment processes
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to lead a small team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Managing and supervising accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and overseeing the accounting team. This includes tasks like preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts managing budgets, and implementing internal controls.
• They also play a crucial role in compliance with accounting regulations and standards, and in providing financial analysis to support decision-making
• Accounting Operations: Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate financial records, including receipts, invoices, and tax forms
• Financial Statement Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and other financial records.
• Data Entry and Analysis: Performing data entry, compiling financial information, and analyzing financial data.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and assisting with audits.
• Budgeting: Assisting with budget preparation and tracking.
• Payroll: Assisting with payroll processing.
• Tax Preparation: Assisting with tax preparation and filing.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and facilitate internal audits.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Other Administrative Tasks: Providing clerical assistance, filing, and final checking of over all tasking of accounting team.
