Job summary

GoTyme Bank in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Officer to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting within the payroll lending business. The role covers core accounting functions, financial reporting processes, and management analysis to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of working experience in accounting.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with accounts payable to ensure transactions are captured, reviewed, and reconciled timely and accurately.
• Provide financial reports to senior management and assist with management analysis.
• Execute month-end and quarter-end closing procedures for timely reporting.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and bank transaction records.
• Prepare taxes and assist with audits; respond to audit requests as needed.
• Prepare and remit national and local taxes (BIR, LGU, SEC) as required.
• Maintain organized trackers and safekeeping of accounts and accounting reports.
• Support ad hoc duties and other responsibilities assigned by the manager.
