Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking an Accounting Officer in the Philippines to support the Finance team with timesheet processing, accounts payable, and month-end closings. The role collaborates with regional shared services and reports to the Head of Finance.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant accounting degree, a CA/CPA or equivalent, and at least five years’ experience in a transportation consultancy or similar field. Proficiency in IFRS and Agresso is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years accounting/admin experience in a transportation consultancy.
• Experience with IFRS and accounting software (Agresso preferred).

Responsibilities

• Process staff and surveyor timesheets and input journal vouchers.
• Record accounting entries and manage accounts payable.
• Verify payments with documentation and company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end closings and reports.
• Assist in internal and external audit requests.
• General clerical support for the Finance team.
• Suggest action items to improve processes.
• Collaborate with Head of Finance and Regional Shared Services.
