About the role

This role involves managing and maintaining the company's financial records, preparing accounting and tax reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews and maintains the books of accounts
• Prepares monthly accounting report and tax reports
• Prepares quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements in preparation for financial audits
• Prepares reports and documentary requirements for SEC and BIR reportorial compliance
• Reviews the purchase journal, payroll and other request for payment ensuring that applicable company policies are properly followed
• Reviews bank reconciliation statements
• Prepares the company budget
• Maintains fixed asset records including related repair and maintenance activities and computes monthly depreciation in coordination with the staff in charge
• Maintains the utmost confidentiality of the company's financial records
• Consistently follows company policies, rules and regulations and accounting manuals and relevant guidelines at all times
