OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial accounting and reporting, ensuring integrity of records and timely reporting to stakeholders.

This full-time role is based in Makati and requires leadership of the accounts team and collaboration with auditors. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accountancy, 5+ years relevant experience, and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to drive accurate financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting systems.
• Minimum of 2-3 years managerial experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Trustworthy, attention to detail and able to detect inconsistencies.
• Must have a positive working attitude and be highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
• Manage the accounts team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth auditing processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
