Job summary

Gervel, Inc. in Makati, Metro Manila is seeking a senior accounting manager to lead accounting operations, financial reporting and budgeting. The role requires a CPA and at least 5 years in a managerial position, with strong oversight of tax compliance and financial statements.

You will liaise with auditors and government agencies, oversee disbursements, bank reconciliations, and cash transactions, and guide the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CPA license is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting and budgeting
• Review financial statements and reports
• Ensure tax compliance
• Approve disbursements, bank reconciliations, and cash transactions
• Liaise with auditors and government agencies (BIR, SEC, etc.)
• Oversee insurance agency operations and compliance
• Perform other tasks assigned by Management
