Job summary

Gervel, Inc. is seeking a seasoned accounting leader to oversee operations, financial reporting, and budgeting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a CPA license, with at least five years in a managerial position.

Exposure to BIR audits is preferred, and the successful candidate will liaise with auditors and government agencies. You will review financial statements, ensure tax compliance, and supervise disbursements, bank reconciliations, and cash transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position.
• Preferably with exposure on BIR Audit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting and budgeting.
• Review financial statements and reports.
• Ensure tax compliance.
• Approve disbursements, bank reconciliations, and cash transactions.
• Liaise with auditor and government agencies (BIR, SEC, etc.).
• Oversee insurance agency operations and compliance.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Management.
