Accounting Manager (CPA required) || Urgently Needed!
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and internal controls. The role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timely preparation of financial information while maintaining compliance with Philippine accounting standards, BIR regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation, review, and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger entries, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial schedules
- Establish and maintain proper accounting procedures in accordance with applicable Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
- Monitor month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of financial reports
- Supervise the preparation, review, and filing of BIR tax returns and other statutory reports
- Lead the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
- Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal control systems
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate accounting personnel to ensure quality and productivity
- Work closely with senior management and other departments on financial planning and operational matters
- Present financial results, reports, and significant accounting matters to management
About you
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an active Philippine CPA license
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related accounting field
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and Philippine statutory compliance
- Proven experience in financial statement preparation, tax compliance, budgeting, and audit coordination
- Experience managing accounting teams and overseeing full-cycle accounting operations
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and work with minimal supervision
