Job summary

Our Clients in Cabuyao, Laguna is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting while leading the team across Billing, Cashiering and general accounting functions.

You will manage monthly close, financial reporting, reconciliations and audit preparation, and optimize BizBox HIS for patient billing, revenue tracking and expenses. Collaborating with the Finance Director, you’ll monitor budgets, cash flow and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a CPA and licensed to practice.
• Experience in hospital/healthcare accounting with supervisory duties.
• Hands-on BizBox Hospital Information System proficiency.
• Minimum 3 years in accounting supervision; managerial experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with general accounting standards and internal controls.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting staff, including Accounting Supervisors and personnel across Billing, Cashiering, and general accounting functions.
• Manage end-to-end financial reporting, monthly close processes, account reconciliations, and audit preparation.
• Utilize and optimize the BizBox Hospital Information System to streamline patient billing, revenue tracking, inventory valuation, and expense monitoring.
• Enforce strict financial controls and cross-functional processes between clinical operations, billing, cashiering, and finance.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Director on budget monitoring, cash flow management, and tax compliance.
• Adapt quickly to operational priorities, extending working hours when necessary to meet critical monthly closing deadlines or hospital administrative needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Direct accounting experience within the hospital, healthcare, diagnostic center, or medical group industry.
• Hands-on experience and proficiency in using the BizBox Hospital Information System.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in accounting; prior managerial experience is strongly preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and data reconciliation.
• Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and team management capabilities.
